Next Meeting

Our next meeting of the Locust Fork High School Boosters will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 in the High School library at 6:30pm.  Be there to support your athletic boosters and your children.  There are many exciting things going on with this booster club and you will want to be a part of it.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held Monday, May 7, 2012 at 6:30 in either the high school library or the cafetorium, depending on how large of a crowd we have.  This last meeting, we had around 40 people in attendance and we were packed in the library.

New Booster Club Officers

We now have a new group of officers and a new board of directors for the booster club.  These people will be more than happy to help you with any concerns, complaints, ideas, compliments or anything else you need the booster club to know.  Here is your list of officers for 2012-2013.

April 15, 2012 Meeting

The Booster Club met on April 15, 2012 at 2:30pm in the Locust Fork High School library.  We discussed many things in this meeting.  Below are some of the highlights:

We are now selling chances to win a pair of tickets to the 2012 Iron Bowl.  Tickets are $5 each and are being sold by LF athletes.

The golf tournament will be held at Cumberland Golf Course on June 11, 2012.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer to help with this event.

We are now selling yard signs for $15 each.  See Gregg Armstrong or any other booster club member to buy one.

We are having a booster club membership drive on May 17, 2012 at 6:30pm.  We will be signing families up for the booster club.  Dues are $10 per family and you get a membership card with 5 free drinks from our concessions on each card and a t-shirt. 

Our spring sports banquet will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 6:30pm.  We are still working out details of what food we will have and how much tickets will cost.

Next Meeting

The next meeting of the Locust Fork Athletic Booster Club will be Sunday, April 15 at 2:30pm in the Library.  We will be further discussing the plans for our fundraisers in the coming weeks.  It's an exciting time to be involved in our booster club.  Everyone who can, please come out and give us your input.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held Sunday, April 1 at 3:00pm at the school.  There are many exciting things coming up for our booster club, so we urge everyone who can to attend.  New officers will be nominated and we will be discussing more fund raisers for our booster club.  Come join us!

Ideas for Merchandise

As some of you know, we already have stadium seats available on the main website.  One of our parents, Johnny Sanders, works for a company that does things like this (signs, banners, shirts, caps, bags, blankets, embroidery, etc...).  If you have any ideas of designs for things like this, please email them to johnnysandersjr79@yahoo.com and give him your ideas.  We want to raise some money for the booster club and give our parents and fans a good product so they can show their Hornet Pride.

Next Booster Club Meeting

Our next meeting will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 5:30pm.  New officers will be nominated at this meeting.  All parents are encouraged to attend this meeting.

Booster Club Meeting 2/26/12

Here are some highlights from our meeting on 2/26:

We will be having a gospel singing and spaghetti dinner to raise funds for the booster club on April 7, 2012 from 5:00pm until approximately 8:00pm.  There will be a $5.00 charge at the door and a donation bucket will be passed around to all who can donate.  Some of the mothers will be cooking the spaghetti and we will also have salad, bread and drinks.  Parents of athletes are encouraged to donate deserts.  Anything you can donate will help.

The Softball team is selling donuts.  See Debbie Hancock for details.

There are many ideas for fundraising being mentioned at our meetings.  We encourage all parents to attend these meetings.  If you have a concern or a complaint or an idea, we want to hear it. 

Our next meeting will be held at the school March 21, 2012 at 5:30pm.  New officers will be nominated at this meeting.
